Tanya Thomas, Founder & Director

MS, CIT, TBRI Practitioner

At Always Hope, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.

Founded by Tanya, a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in child welfare and juvenile justice, Always Hope was created to provide trauma-informed support for children, families, caregivers, schools, and community agencies.

As both a professional and a parent of eight children, Tanya understands firsthand the challenges families face when navigating trauma, adversity, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. Her personal and professional experiences have shaped a deep commitment to helping families build stronger connections, find hope, and create lasting change.

Families come in many forms—biological, foster, adoptive, kinship, and chosen family relationships. At Always Hope, we meet families where they are and work alongside them to strengthen relationships, build resilience, and support healing through connection.

Our services are rooted in TBRI® principles and are designed to help children feel safe, seen, heard, and valued while equipping caregivers with practical tools to nurture growth and healing.

Whether through therapy, supervised visitation, training, or consultation, our mission is simple:

To offer hope and healing to children and their caregivers.
